Product Description Finally available on CD, the original album was out of print for over 40 years. About the Artist This swinging group was organized in Knoxville, TN in 1939. A few months later they joined Gene Austin, who named them for the openign line in his famous song "My Blue Heaven" ("When Whippoorwills call...". They stayed with Austin for several months before going out on their own. They arrived in Hollywood in 1950, where they worked with Roy Rogers for three years, and were favorites in recording, radio and TV studios.
